Deen Trusts — أمانات الدين · Effective 3 July 2026

Summary

Deen Trusts (أمانات الدين) is a Quran reading app. It has no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything you create in the app stays on your device. The only data that ever leaves your device is an anonymous crash report if the app malfunctions, and the network requests needed to stream recitation audio.

Data we collect

Crash reports only. If the app crashes or hits an internal error, an automatic report is sent to Sentry (our error-monitoring provider) so we can fix the problem. A report contains the technical error, a stack trace, your device model, operating-system version, and app version. It contains no account information (the app has no accounts), no reading activity, and nothing you have typed or bookmarked. Crash reports are not linked to your identity and are not used for tracking or advertising.

The app has no sign-up, no usage analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your device only, and is deleted when you uninstall the app:

We have no access to any of it.

Network access

All Quran text, page layouts, fonts, tafsir, and topic data ship inside the app and work fully offline.

The only network use is audio recitation: when you play a recitation, the app streams the audio file over HTTPS from a recitation content server. As with any internet request, that server necessarily receives your IP address and the file requested. The app sends no identifiers, no account information, and no usage data with these requests.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version adds functionality that changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be noted here.
